Reading the Trees is a collection from the Hyperlocal Exchange project inviting amateurs, curious neighbors, artists, and writers, and more, to tap into their inner urban naturalist and make a one-page minizine about a tree in their neighborhood or city. The zines are distributed in Hyperlocal vending machines to encourage cross-pollination between cities and foster a sense of hyperlocal curiosity.
